How does Deliverect deal with Uber Eats discounts?
When a discount is applied to your customer's Uber Eats order, this balance will need to be reflected in your Deliverect order and subsequently in your POS. For some POS systems, you may need to set up a discount product, please enquire with your Deliverect Customer Success agent, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org before proceeding with setting up Uber Eats promotions to ensure Deliverect correctly sends the discount information to your POS.
When the order comes into Deliverect, the 'Discount Total' will display beneath your 'Sub Total':
When the order is sent to your POS, the Discount Total will also be highlighted on the POS order.
Your POS reports will allow you to keep track of the discounts processed.
Buy One Get One Free deal for existing products: sometimes restaurants will get an exclusive period (e.g. all restaurants join the BOGOF deal in week 34, while one specific restaurant joins the deal in week 35). Another possibility is to publish a BOGOF deal each Tuesday.
