Delivery fees and discounts
Takeaway.com/Thuisbezorgd requires 2 special products to be configured. They send us both a delivery fee and a discount, if applicable.
The PLUs for these products can be configured in your channel settings, which is most likely already taken care of when we set up your account.
It is important, however, to create 2 separate items (non-discounted) in your POS. For good measures, we recommend using the following PLUs:
TA77: Takeaway.com Delivery Fee (this should be created as a product)
TA99: Takeaway.com Discount (this should be created as a discount)
Since every POS is different, we recommend you consult with your Account Manager what is the best way to create this.
Why these PLU's?
Deliverect and your POS communicate together with PLU's. It is therefore vital that the same PLU's exist on every platform for them to be able to communicate in the same language and send information.
Why is it necessary to send the delivery fees?
If the delivery fee is not sent, it will not appear in your POS system, and there will be a discrepancy between the overview TA/Thuisbezorgd will send you and the financial reporting in your POS.
