This only applies for customers using the previous menu builder (v1).
When going to 'preview menu' in the menu builder, you might encounter the error message "Cannot build menu for a location: either tax rate has not been set or duplicate products are found".
In 99% of the cases, this means that there are duplicate products in your menu builder.
Go to the menu builder and look for duplicate products in the categories, or duplicate modifiers in modifier groups.
E.g.: two modifiers have the same PLU in the POS, which results in two different modifiers with the same PLU code in the Deliverect menu builder.
Solution:
- Remove both items from the menu in Deliverect
- Go to your POS system and change the PLU of one of the modifiers
- Sync the products with Deliverect
- Add the modifiers to your menu in Deliverect again
E.g.: a modifier was added twice in the Deliverect menu builder.
This sometimes happens when you add a modifier for all locations, and then you add this modifier again for a particular location.
Solution: remove one of the modifiers from the Deliverect menu.
