Revel: Set up a Custom Menu

Setting up a custom menu in Revel is required when connecting to Deliverect. Read this article to learn how to create one.

Step 1. Log in to your Revel dashboard and navigate to the Products page.

Step 2. Click on Custom Menus in the sidebar.

Step 3. Click on + Add Custom Menu.

Step 4. Fill in the following:

  • Name: Enter something to easily identify the menu (e.g. Deliverect Menu).
  • Application Type: Mode
  • Mode / Station: Online
  • Active: Check

Click on the Save icon once ready.

Step 5. Click on the edit (pencil) icon for the newly created menu. Configure the menu with products you want to include, etc.

Step 6. Click on the Edit Effective Dates/Time link.

Step 7. Set Date Range and Everyday as Open. Then configure them as follows:

Date Range

  • Start Date: Choose a date in the past (e.g. yesterday).
  • End Date: Leave empty

Everyday

  • Open: 12:00 AM
  • Close: 11:59 PM

Click on Done to save.

Step 8. The custom menu is now ready to be used in Deliverect. Contact your Deliverect account manager so that they can continue configuring your POS in Deliverect.
