In this article, we will show you how you can link your Uber Store to Deliverect. Please follow the next steps thoroughly.
1. Log out on all the accounts of Uber Eats that are active in your browser.
2. Login into your Deliverect account.
3. Once you are logged in, navigate to 'Locations'
4. Select the specific location from which you want to connect Uber.
5. Go to the Uber Eats channel and click on Link Channel
This message will appear, please click on Link to my Channel
6. In case you haven't previously provided us your Uber Eats store link, you will need to paste it here and click on Link Channel
7. You will be redirected to the Uber Eats login page. Please log in with the proper credentials in your account (Email and Password).
If your credentials are correct, this message will appear. Please click on Allow.
Once this is done, you will be redirected to Deliverect.
To double-check if the connection between Deliverect & Uber Eats worked, you can navigate back to the delivery channels of your location. Here you will see that the button 'Link Channel' on the delivery channel will be replaced by 'Unlink Channel'.
Please dont click on Unlink Channel, unless you want to terminate the integration between Uber and Deliverect
Please notify your Deliverect AM that this step has been completed, so we can continue with the onboarding process.
The fact you could link your channel doesn't mean you will already be able to receive orders for Uber Eats through Deliverect. Manual activation of your Deliverect AM is required before the connection is finalized. Therefore, it is important to notify your Deliverect account manager once you were able to link your Uber Eats store to Deliverect.
Common errors:
- The connection between Uber Eats & Deliverect failed
Make sure to log out first from all the Uber Eats before you try to link Uber Eats with Deliverect, via the button: 'Link Channel'.
- error.invalid_Request
In case you are our first customer working with a specific POS, it might be the connection between Uber Eats, Deliverect, and your POS is not fully set yet. In case this shows up, don't hesitate to contact your Deliverect AM.
- Could not provision store
For some reason, your Uber Eats account doesn't provide you the right role to link your Uber Eats store with Deliverect.
In this case, it might be interesting to check your 'role' and 'rights' in Uber Eats and to communicate these to your Deliverect Account manager.
In the meanwhile, it might be worth trying to let one of your co-members of your Uber Eats account and Deliverect account link your store to Deliverect.
- Can't Find Target HTML Element
Make sure your store URL is correct. This happens when the customer-facing URL of your store is not the correct one in the channel settings, please verify this and provide your AM the right URL
- Invalid Client
This might be happening because someone else is logged in to your Uber Eats account with the same credentials. Please make sure the other person is logged out before you proceed with the linking.
Another possibility is that you are using the same e-mail address for multiple Uber Eats accounts (different locations or brands).
Your Uber Eats application has not been set in the channel link settings, please ask your AM to do it.
- Can't Unlink Channel
If you tried to unlink UberEats and got this error, please contact your CS Manager to solve it.
