Due to the nature of the Shopify API and overall direction, there are a number of features that are not available to a more standard delivery channel.
3rd Party Apps
Shopify provides a huge app store to their merchants, which is just fantastic. An app can have unlimited access to the store's products, theme (how it's presented), and orders. Because of this flexibility, this can easily create a situation that breaks our assumptions and makes the integration not work.
If you are using these kinds of apps, like Zapiet for example, please inform your Customer Success Consultant during the onboarding process, so we can check if it will work or not.
Modifiers
A maximum of 3 modifier groups are supported. And the amount of modifiers cants exceed the combination of 100 variances
Multiple Locations
If you have 1 central webshop with different pick-up locations/warehouse locations that will be representing a location in Deliverect (one single Shopify store domain) at the moment is not possible to enable your store for several locations at the same time.
Only one Menu
Because Shopify is an e-com platform, it doesn’t support multiple product line-ups. So we can only have one menu.
Pre-orders
We currently do not support pre-orders for Shopify (ordering something for a future pickup). The reason for that is that the future date/time designation is not natively supported by Shopify but is injected via 3rd party apps .
