Reinstall a Tunnel

A tunnel may need to be recreated if the machine running the POS has been replaced or if the Client key has been lost.

If you experience any issues or need help, please contact our support team for assistance.

Download and install the tunnel

Step 1. In the sidebar, select Settings and then Keys .


Step 2. Select the Download client button to download the software needed for the tunnel.


Step 3. Install the client on the machine running your POS. You will be asked for the following:

  • Token: Enter the Client Key.

  • Port: Enter the port that is used by your POS.

  • Protocol: Choose the correct protocol for your POS. If you are unsure, contact our support team.

Select the Next button once ready.

If you no longer have the Client Key, follow the steps in the section below.

Generate a new Client key

If you no longer have the Client key, follow these steps.

Step 1. On the Keys page, select Details for your tunnel.


Step 2. Select the Generate new key button.


Step 3. You are asked to confirm. Type GENERATE into the field and select the Generate New Key button.


Step 4. You will be shown your POS URL in addition to the new Client Key. Make a note of it because you can not retrieve it later.
