In this article, we will show you how to easily enable notifications on your TouchBistro iPad.
iPad notification and sound settings
Step 1. On your iPad, open the Settings app and choose Notifications from the sidebar.
Step 2. Find and tap on TouchBistro POS in the Notification Style section.
Step 3. Confirm/change the following settings:
Enable Allow Notifications
Tick all alert types (Lock Screen, Notification Center, Banners)
Set Banner Style to Persistent and enable Sounds
Step 4. Tap on Sounds in the sidebar and set the device volume to an audible volume. In addition, enable the Change with Buttons toggle, so you can use the buttons of your iPad to control it.
How to enable notifications for TouchBistro POS
Step 1. Open TouchBistro POS on your iPad, and log in as Admin. Step 2. Tap on Admin and select Admin Settings.
Step 3. Navigate to TouchBistro Apps in the sidebar and select TouchBistro Online Ordering on the right side of your screen .
Step 4. Enable Receipt Printing and Notifications.
Step 5. To ensure notifications have been successfully applied, please force close TouchBistro POS on your iPad or restart your TouchBistro Pro Server on your Mac Mini (if applicable).
