Sometimes orders don't need to be immediately fulfilled. Using the Buffer Orders feature, send orders to your POS only when preparation needs to start. To enable this, follow the steps in this article.
We recommend not using this feature for Deliveroo.
We also advise checking your current buffer/delay/preparation time settings on your delivery channels and POS, as these can interfere with the time set on Deliverect.
Step 1. Go to the Locations page on your Deliverect account.
Step 2. Expand the location of the channel(s) you want to change by clicking on it.
Step 3. Click on the Edit button for a channel.
Step 4. Enable the Show More toggle at the top right of the page.
Step 5. Enable the Buffer Orders toggle in the POS Settings section.
Step 6 (optional). If desired, adjust the Average Preparation Time value. This determines when an order will be sent to your POS (e.g. a value of 15 means that an order will be sent to your POS 15 minutes before the order should be ready).
Step 7. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
