To print to a supported printer from an iPad, a certificate generated by the printer needs to be installed.

Step 1. First, follow all of the steps in this article. It will show you how to configure the printer, generate the certificate, and download it.

Step 2. Once you have downloaded the certificate to your iPad, open your Settings app. Navigate to General ➜ VPN & Device Management.

Step 3. Tap on the downloaded profile with the IP address of your printer.

Step 4. Tap on Install.

Step 5. Go to General ➜ About.

Step 6. Tap on Certificate Trust Settings.

Step 7. Activate the toggle for the certificate from your printer. To finish setting up your printer, complete step 19 of this article.
