The menu validation feature allows you to check if all menu items are valid and that there are no overlapping availabilities. Keep reading to learn more.
How to access
Step 1. Log in to your Deliverect account and click on Menus in the sidebar.
Step 2. Click on the preview button for your menu.
Step 3. Enable the Validate menu toggle.
Types of errors
Products having themselves as modifiers
Edit the products listed in the error message to ensure that products aren't being included as a modifier, being duplicated, or auto applying itself. Depending on the channel, publishing a menu may still be possible with this error.
Products not found but used in menu
This will display if products are no longer available in your Deliverect, but are still being used in your menu. This can happen if you delete products on your POS and then sync your products to Deliverect. Check the products with the PLUs displayed and remove them.
Click on the Edit Availabilities button to change when your menus are present on your channels. This is necessary when you have a clash from multiple menus being set to be available at the same time or have no menu availabilities configured. Read this article to learn more about menu scheduling.
