This article is only relevant if you do not have a POS integration. If you do have a POS, you can instead sync your products, modifiers, and modifier groups.
What is a nested modifier? The term refers to a modifier existing inside another modifier. Take a look at the example below:
- Modifier: Ketchup
- Modifier group: Ketchup Options
- Modifier: Reduced Salt Ketchup
- Modifier: No Sugar Ketchup
- Modifier group: Ketchup Options
Nesting modifiers allow you to provide your customers with even more flexibility with their orders. Follow the steps below to learn how.
Nested modifiers are not supported by all delivery channels. Please contact our support team to find out if this affects you.
Step 1. Log in to your Deliverect account and click on Products in the sidebar.
Step 2. Click on the modifier.
Step 3. Scroll down to the Modifier groups section and click on the Add a modifier group button. If you need to create one, choose instead Create a modifier group.
Step 4. Tick the modifier groups , then click on Add
.
You're done! The added modifier groups are now nested inside the modifier. As with all changes to products, don't forget to publish your menu to your delivery channels.
